Gone Ridin’ …

I stopped for a sec in my ride this evening (I started cycling somewhere between 4 and 5 pm) to snap a pic of the sunset.

YUM dum de dum dum!

I love San Destin at Sunset — well — actually I love San Destin anytime of the day or year for that matter.  I just love this area, period.  I thought I would share with you the fun part of my day today.  Yes, we cleaned a bit.  Yes, we drove a lot.  Yes, we encountered problems when we checked into our room.  BUT, once I got on the bike and started riding, my troubles just started melting away.  I started smiling at everyone I met.  Kinda got flirted with by some very young men–confusing.  Funny–you know they were cracking about the high they gave that old woman peddling her bike.  One kid sang about me as I rode by–mind you, I cheered him on in his musical efforts just before he began to sing about the lady on her bike.  I don’t know how the song finished because I whizzed by like the wind with a smile on my face and joy in my heart.

YUM ... some images just take your breath away and fill your soul with peace all at the same time. This is one such image for me. 😀

I had to share with you my helmet hair ... my Elvis Hair. Which is truly amazing given how much hair I have lost recently. Gotta love it. 😀

I would take a pic of me now with my Mikey, but I am not dressed fit for a photo, and I have a slight dullness to my eyes — probably coming from the wine (I know–I am supposed to be working on losing.  My knees were hurting.  This will get me to sleep so I can CYCLE myself through a full day tomorrow!–get over it!)

I will try and get ya some photo’s tamarry … for now … blessings and PEACE keep you till we meet up again.  YEAH!
